There are a couple of patches of violets growing in the lawn.
They're rather nice. Of course, for a real patch of violets, you have to got to the A143, just on the Haddiscoe side of Beccles:
They are part of a quite large bank, which looks quite elderly, the picture being taken under a fully mature Oak, so perhaps it's an edge of a piece of ancient woodland.
Of course the Lesser Celandines get a look in too:
