Early Summer but with a fierce easterly breeze. No fetch to the waves, just messy windslop.

The corner always has impressive clapotis even in light winds. Interesting today.

Beach beacon

Scalloped stream edge

Full winter coat for the breeze. No wonder the beach was utterly deserted.

The Baba got a cold nose but seems to have survived the epic breeze...

First Bay on the day of the Royal Wedding

There was a small wind wave

Early Purple Orchid

The Orchid bank doesn't seem to have tone too well this year but there are still a fair number of the Early Purples with a whole mix of other wildflowers among them.

Yarmouth Gasometer

I started the Glasgow blog with the Anniesland gasometers. Yarmouth has its own dinkie little gasometer, a piece of Victoriana.

This Winter has not been particularly bright or photogenic after last Winter in Glasgow so I've not been too quick to put up any pictures. But now there are snowdrops in the garden and by the roadsides too, struggling a bit in the grey drizzle. There will be Spring soon....
